We've put together some mouth-watering CBD recipes for you to make and enjoy at home, from tasty protein packed smoothies to homemade infused pancakes. Simply add a few drops of Infusion CBD and you're good to go.

GREEN POWER SMOOTHIE - VEGAN 

 

This delicious green smoothie is packed with calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, vitamins A, C and E to help set you up for the day ahead. 

Ingredients : 

  • 1 ripe banana (diced)
  • 1 ripe kiwi (peeled and diced)
  • 1/2 a cup of kale (washed)
  • 1 cup of almond milk (unsweetened) 
  • 1/2 cup of ice
  • 1/2 scoop / 30ml vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional) 
  • 4 - 8 drops of 500 mg CBD oil

Method :

Place all the ingredients except the CBD into a blender and mix until combined and smooth. If your smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more almond milk, or add more ice (re-blend) to thicken your smoothie and make it less runny. Then add a few drops of CBD oil and give it a quick boost until it's mixed in.

 

CBD-INFUSED MATCHA PANCAKES

 

Need more ideas for a nutritious breakfast? Our delicious matcha pancakes are just right for that - loaded with fibre, calcium and vitamins A, B1, B2 and B6. This recipe makes enough for two so you can share them or store some overnight.

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbs matcha powder
  • 1 tbs of coconut oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 cups of oat milk
  • 4 - 8 drops of 500 mg CBD oil

Method :

  1. Sieve flour into a large bowl
  2. Add baking powder and baking soda
  3. Pour in milk and eggs
  4. Combine all ingredients and whisk for one minute
  5. Place some coconut oil in the pan and place over medium heat
  6. Spoon the batter into a lightly greased pan in circular motion, on medium heat and cook evenly on each side
  7. Flip the pancake and cook the other side until lightly browned for 1 minute or so
  8. Repeat the same method for the other pancakes
  9. Place pancakes on a large warmed plate
  10. Optional : add honey and banana slices for extra flavour

CBD CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT TARTS

If you love chocolate and are craving some zen - we have the PERFECT combination for you. CBD is a non-intoxicating compound found in the cannabis plant which bonds great with fatty foods and can be formed into CBD butter, CBD coconut oil or CBD olive oil. See our recipe below to create your own CBD-infused chocolate hazelnut tarts!

Ganache Filling :

  • 2.3oz dark chocolate (70-80% cacao)
  • 4 - 8 drops of 500 mg CBD oil
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (full fat)

Tart Shell :

  • 1 3/4 cup of hazelnuts (toasted and skinned)
  • 1/2 cup raw walnuts
  • 8 medjool dates (halved and peeled)
  • 3 tbsp cacoa powder
  • 2 tsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla 
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 maldon sea salt flakes

Method :

  1. Combine 1 1/2 cup of hazelnuts, walnuts, and dates in a food processor and pulse until nuts are about the same size of coffee beans before adding the remaining tart shell ingredients. Pulse until well incorporated. (Mixture should stick together when pinched.)
  2. Divide blended mixture between four 6 inch springform tart pans and press the mixture into each pan to form even crusts. Allow tart crusts to chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before filling.
  3. Over a double-boiler, stir finely chopped 2.3 ounces of fine dark chocolate, coconut milk until the chocolate is just melted. Add your Infusion CBD oil drops. 
  4. Pour into chilled tart crusts immediately and refrigerate for 4 hours before serving. Gently remove from springform pan and top with remaining toasted hazelnuts and flaked sea salt just before plating.

This recipe is naturally vegan and gluten-free!
